Well established gene-disease association.

Onset is typically in childhood but symptoms can develop into the 5th decade, requires life-long monitoring.

Key features are Addison disease, and/or hypoparathyroidism, and/or chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis but a range of other issues (e.g. hepatitis) also reported.

Treatment: steroids and recombinant PTH; immunomodulatory drugs for autoimmune phenomena.
