Severe childhood onset - DNA repair disorder increased pigment and high risk skin cancer with exposure to UV light, variable phenotype of neurodegeneration, premature death
Treatment: avoidance of UV, Oral isotretinoin, oral niacinamide, topical imiquimod and topical fluorouracil. Clinical trials for other drugs underway (Afamelanotide) *these don't address the neurodegeneration component of the disease
